Ben Quayle says President Barack Obama "has loaded every child in the nation with more debt than any president in history."

Analysis

Quayle claims on his website that Obama has loaded the nation's future generations "with more debt than any other president in history," though he does not elaborate.

When asked by AZ Fact Check to provide more detail about the claim, the Quayle campaign pointed to what it called Obama's "spending sprees" in 2009 and claimed no other president has presided over anything close to that level of deficit spending.

Ben Quayle, son of former Vice President Dan Quayle, writes in a campaign mailer that his "roots in Arizona run deep." He says that he and his wife, Tiffany Quayle, intend to raise their family there.

The ad
A Quayle campaign mailer featuring pictures and information about the candidate, his history and his beliefs. 

Summary of the ad
The flier touts the candidate's deep roots in Arizona and his desire to raise his family in the 3rd Congressional District. He notes that his great-grandparents and grandparents lived in the district, and his parents and siblings live there. The mailer features pictures of Quayle's ancestors to help support the statements about his Arizona "roots." It also includes a picture of Quayle with two young girls and another of him, his wife and his dog.
